480 million stray cats worldwide live in need. In Germany alone, animal rights activists estimate that two million roam the streets – without solid food sources or basic medical care. The problem: they continue to multiply in an uncontrolled manner. The new Berlin social start-up STRAYZ has the mission to improve the lives of these cats. By selling species-appropriate organic cat food, the three founders, Madeline Metzsch, Saskia te Kaat and Stefanie Zillessen, want to collect donations for non-profit organizations that look after four-legged friends in need.
