    xounds

    xounds is an AI-supported peer-to-peer platform to explore and share authentic audible pleasure in a safe(r) space for consensual, inclusive, and diverse audio content around erotic pleasure. xounds empowers people to share real pleasure in diverse audio formats (stories, sounds, tutorials, …) while giving them the option to stay anonymous and always keep control over consent and ownership of their data. The choice of freemium and premium allow inclusive access to exploration of audible pleasure. The »xoundcheck« ensures consent and policy adherence using advanced speech recognition AI.

    Grains is the-first-of-its-kind non-profit hospitality school that helps displaced people to integrate into new communities and find jobs in the hospitality industry. Launched in Ukraine with the aim to help globally.

    Daria Trints with Periodly

    Periodly helps menstruating people understand their menstrual cycle and organize the life around it. The Periodly Chatbot sends information about what’s going on in a body according to each day of the cycle of users, every day providing nutrition and productivity tips to be efficient and have peace of mind.

    Shannon Weißel with SmrtCut

    SmrtCut is a plugin that provides customized keyboard shortcuts and AI-powered automations to increase productivity in software applications.

    Ran Liu with Space Egg

    With Space Egg the customer can use cutting-edge AI tools to create a unique art piece, then collaborate with top-tier artists to transform it into a stunning oil painting. Whether online or at exclusive offline events, it will be a personalised, high-quality art experience.

    Katharina Schultz-Ebert with Unite

    Unite gets refugees into good jobs faster by digitizing the recognition process for foreign nursing qualifications. Our automatic analysis of application documents reduces costs and waiting times, and migrant applicants receive targeted information on required qualifications and further training. Additionally, our solution enables companies to better compare foreign qualifications, allowing them to fill vacancies more efficiently.

    Anna Motzek with Queer World

    Queer World will be a comprehensive platform that lists all queer bars, events, and gatherings, fostering a vibrant community. Users can connect with others and join activities together, enhancing the social experience within the queer scene.

    A wonderful wrap-up of 2022 – joint UX-MAS Event of BHT, HTW and HWR!

    On December 15, 2022, we hosted the last event of the year 2022 – UX-MAS – together with our friends from the BHT Startup Hub and  Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin. It was a successful event, joining forces from these three universities to bring 12 startup teams on stage for a UX Testing of their products and ideas, to invite the Berlin startup ecoysytem for networking, to celebrate the successful year and to say thank you to our management – Elli from BHT Startup Hub, Sarah and Daniel from HTW InnoTechHub, Matthias and Marvin from the HWR Startup Incubator Berlin.

    This past year alone, the three universities of applied sciences in Berlin supported an impressive number of 79 startups in 4 different incubation and acceleration programs! And many more to come next year…

    We were also very grateful that we had the chance to collect donations for the Berliner Krebsgesellschaft through a charity bazar. Special thanks belong to the generous contributions of books by Diederichs Verlag, Kösel Verlag and Murmann Verlag for the good cause. The total amount raised that evening was 826,48 EUR – so thank you all very much for your donation, support and for joining us at this memorable event!
