Lumind is a handy designer lamp that helps people with diabetes and their relatives to integrate diabetes more easily into their everyday lives. Diabetes is a chronic metabolic disease that requires people to control and monitor their own blood sugar levels. Our first product – the Lumind Habitat – is a handy design lamp that uses coloured light to visualise blood sugar readings: unhealthy values are warned by red or blue light, whereas a blood sugar value in the target range is rewarded with green light. The measured values are automatically sent from compatible measuring devices to the Lumind Habitat via the Internet.
