About the Project

Native foods emerged from the lack of attractive and sustainable protein alternatives from insects. Native Foods started in a small bakery in Schöneberg. Various insect-based baked goods were developed and produced there. The assumption that the psychological barrier of edible insects in the western world is easiest to overcome with delicious baked goods has worked.
