Which programme uses which funding logos?
- →EU “Co-funded by the European Union” (ESF+) + Berlin logo (Section 2): Startup Now, Lean Startup Sprint, Berliner Startup Stipendium.
- →BMWE logo bar “ESF+ & EXIST” (Section 3): EXIST Gründungsstipendium, EXIST Women.
SIB Logo
The Startup Incubator Berlin logo in three variants. Use the red primary version wherever possible. Black and white (negative) are intended for single-colour or contrasting backgrounds.
Note on the black-and-white variants: The black and the white (negative) versions of the SIB logo may only be used in exceptional cases — for example single-colour printing, faxes or engraving. The red primary version must be used by default.
ESF+ Funding Logo
“Co-funded by the European Union” — to be used on all publications produced as part of funding from the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+). Choose the horizontal or vertical format depending on the available space.

For publications of these programmes, the EU logo “Co-funded by the European Union” is used together with the Berlin logo. You will find both logos below; the complete set is also available as a ZIP.
Horizontal or vertical — not both: Use either the horizontal or the vertical version — whichever fits the available space. Both variants show the same logo; do not use them together.
Berlin logo
Logo of the State of Berlin — to be used together with the EU logo. PNG for web, EPS for print.
EXIST & ESF+ Funding Logo
The official logo bar of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) featuring EXIST and ESF+. This bar must be used on funded publications. RGB for screen/web, CMYK for print.

For publications of these programmes, the BMWE logo bar “ESF+ & EXIST” is used. It replaces the standalone EU logo from Section 2.

General Rules & Notes
To keep our brand and the funding logos consistent and correct, please follow these basic rules.
Clear space
Keep a free margin around the logo. As a guide, use the height of the logo mark (X).
Minimum size
Do not use the logo too small, so the wordmark and mark stay legible — on screen and in print.
Do & Don’t
This keeps the brand consistent.
Mandatory funding notice: On publications produced as part of the funding, the funding logos (ESF+ as well as the BMWE bar EXIST & ESF+) must be used. The EU emblem must be clearly visible, in the correct colour and at an appropriate size. For the binding details, please refer to the ESF information sheet (PDF, German).
